Many students who have took part at international university sports events, will also be participating at this year’s Summer Olympic Games - Olympiad in Beijing.

We are very proud of our national representatives who have participated at Summer Universiades in won medals; among them Mitja Petkovšek, Peter Mankoč and Sara Isakovič. Among the Slovenian Olympic team there are participants of the last Summer Universiade which took place in Bangkok, and also participants of previous universiades.
