Transportation

Maribor has an International Airport, which is located 10 km from the City and it is currently being renovated. The organisers will also provide transportation from Ljubljana International Airport with national (Adria Airways) and foreign air carriers (Lufthansa, Easy Jet, United Airlines, Air France, Malev, etc.), who provide daily flights from and to London, Munich, Moscow, Frankfurt, Paris, Zurich, Prague, Vienna, Rome, Barcelona, etc. The Ljubljana Airport is located 120 km from Maribor.

The Organising Committee will also arrange transportation from Zagreb International Airport, which is located 100 km from Maribor and Graz International Airport, located 40 km from Maribor.

Maribor railway station is linked with all European railway companies with direct trains from and to Rome, Milan, Venice, Trieste, Vienna, Villach, Budapest, Zagreb, Zurich.

Good and improving highway system. Expressway cross close to completion. Border crossings with Italy, Austria, Hungary and Croatia.
